Meet Our Staff
Dr. Haaland
Dr. Haaland was born and raised in Minot. She received her Bachelors in Science degree from North Dakota State University in 2000. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in 2004. Dr. Haaland purchased her Minot practice in October, 2004 from Dr. Donald Kilene. Dr. Haaland prides herself on providing comprehensive eye care for all patients. She loves her private practice that allows her to see patients of all needs and ages. Dr. Haaland is married to Blair, they have three children. Dr. Haaland enjoys spending time at the lake with her family and watching her children participate in their activities. When time allows Dr. Haaland enjoys golfing, fishing, reading and gardening.
Gerri
Optician
Gerri is the optician, she has been an optician for 29 years. She started working for Dr. Haaland in 2018. Gerri loves to help people with their frame and lens purchases. She loves trouble shooting patients problems with their eye wear. In the summer you can usually find her at the lake. Her husband and son enjoy fishing while she enjoys just being on the water. She would love to assist you with your next purchase.
Josie
Office Manager
Josie has been working for Dr. Haaland for 6 years. She is the office manager. Josie is married to Josh and they have three children, Madison, Peyton and Xander. Her husband is a farmer and a rancher. Her children enjoy showing Angus cattle. Josie enjoys spending time outside of work with her family and their many travels around the country to cattle shows, gardening, yard work.
Barb
Receptionist
My name is Barb I am the receptionist for Dr. Jaime Haaland. I have been employed here since March 2019. I worked several years in the dental field. I have been blessed with twin daughters, 2 son-in-laws and five grandchildren, a fiance and daughter Kira. I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy cooking, baking and traveling when I can.
Kendra
Technician
My name is Kendra and I’ have been the technician for Dr. Haaland for 2.5 years. I have a background in ophthalmology and pacemaker/cardiology clinic. I am married to Jay who works in law enforcement and the national guard. We have a son Kipton and two dogs. I enjoy being active outdoors, going to the lake, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
